Former F1 driver begins campaign at Silverstone in European Le Mans Series next weekend
April 11, 2014, Le Mans, France: Indian racing driver Karun Chandhok today confirmed that he will return to the historic Le Mans 24 hours race for the third time. Chandhok was the first Indian to drive the iconic Le Mans 24 hours in 2012 and remains the only driver from India to have competed in the historic race. The Le Mans 24 hours race, is widely regarded as part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, along with the F1 Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500.
January 19, 2014: Indian racing ace Karun Chandhok began his 500 kilometer charity cycle ride this morning at the Pallikaranai Government school in Chennai. The "KC500 presented by Montra" is being organised in partnership with the Madras Midtown Round Table 42 and saw a mass start of over 200 cyclists, including plenty of school children, start off at 8am today. The large group took part in 25km ride to support Karun and the main KC500 riders, who are heading off to Puducherry, Tanjavur, Karaikkudi and eventually finishing their ride at the hill station of Kodaikanal 7000 feet above sea level.
Chandhok rues bad luck which costs him shot at victory
January 12, 2014: Indian racing driver Karun Chandhok got his year off to a brilliant start with a 3rd place finish in the SP2 class victory at the Dubai 24hours. Chandhok, driving the Dubai 24hours for the second time in his career, drove for the Nissan GT Academy Team RJN, which suffered mechanical issues through the night, costing the team a chance at victory.
Indian racing ace Karun Chandhok today launched a charity cycling event titled "KC500 presented by Montra" in partnership with the Madras Midtown Round Table 42. The ride will cover a distance of 500 kilometres starting from Karun's home town of Chennai and finishing 7000 feet above sea level, in the hill station of Kodaikanal.
