Chandhok Fifth at Inaugural Formula E Race

Beijing, India, 13 September: India’s Karun Chandhok took Mahindra Racing’s first points in the new FIA Formula E Championship today, at the inaugural race in Beijing, China. Chandhok finished a strong fifth following some close racing around the Olympic Park street circuit. Team mate Bruno Senna, who failed to post a qualifying time earlier today due to a battery issue, hit more misfortune after suspension damage on lap one forced him to retire early.

Chandhok Qualifies In 4th Position At Inaugural Formula E Race

Beijing, India, 13 September: The first qualifying session of the FIA Formula E championship saw Mahindra Racing team's Karun Chandhok qualify his car a fantastic fourth on the grid, while team mate Bruno Senna faced heartbreak after he failed to set a time due to battery failure, despite being the fastest in practice earlier in the day.

Karun Chandhok's Mahindra Racing Complete Pre-Season Testing on a High

August, 2014: The Mahindra Racing Formula E team completed one final pre-season test yesterday, ahead of the inaugural race of the FIA Formula E Championship which will take place in Beijing next month. Karun Chandhok and Bruno Senna both completed several test programmes and two separate race simulations as their familiarisation with the new Formula E car comes to an end.

Successful Shakedown for Mahindra Formula E Team

July 8, 2014: The Mahindra Formula E team completed a successful shakedown of the team’s new Formula E car on Wednesday, at a wet Donington Park circuit in the UK. Taking part in the first ever shakedown for the 10 Formula E teams, Mahindra Racing drivers Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok completed various system checks during the day’s running.
